Alligator

Alligator hunts in Mississippi are subjected to guidelines pertaining to both public and private waters. When hunting Alligators in Mississippi, a combination of licenses is required; for instance, residents must have a Sportsman license or similar to the like – non-residents must have an All Game license or similar to the like. Along with the main license, the Alligator licenses are then able to be purchased, with licenses pertaining to specific zones (when hunting in public waters) and private water licenses as well (both for residents and non-residents). Tags must be placed on the Alligators in the correct manner; this is especially important when the Alligator is transported outside of state lines. Bag limit is typically two Alligators with one 4 feet in length, but not to exceed 7 feet in length, while the other is permitted to exceed 7 feet.
